Silver Rainbow - helping Croydon achieve Beacon status
On the 17th of November a couple of us represented Silver Rainbow (our friendly lunch club for older gay people) at an event in the Access Ability Centre in Boulogne Road, to promote Croydon as a “Beacon Council” in respect of “Positive engagement of older people to support and promote greater independence and well-being in later life.” We put together a display stand for the occasion, and chatted to the assessors when they came round.
