Croydon Community Network

I went to the Croydon Community Network meeting at the Braithwaite Hall today. This is a quarterly meeting arranged by CVA (Croydon Voluntary Action) which brings together the various community groups. The theme of the meeting was "Being Greener for Wellbeing in Croydon": we heard what is happening on the environmental front in Croydon and took part in discussions as to how Croydon could be greener. The second half of the meeting was the business part, when various representatives made their reports (I gave a very brief update on local LGBT developments). It seems that there is a place reserved for an LGBT representative (presumably Crocus) on the new Equalities and Cohesion Theme Partnership.
