Good Morning Catherine,
Thanks for the reply & offer. At the moment we've got two definite events for LGBT History Month 2010. The first is on the 6th Feb which is the laying of a Pink Triangle Floral Tribute & saying of words in recognition of Alan Turing as war hero who brought the peace forward by at least 2 years by 'breaking the code'. This will take place at the war memorial at the Clocktower in in Katherine Street. This event would certainly benefit from a musical imput. The second, is a low key affair & photo opportunity of 'cutting the ribbon' to denote the replenishing/updating of the LGBT library section, in the Central Library, which had been recently neglected and run-down...until we noticed it. We have other ideas under consideration and will, if resources allow develop them further.

About Me:
I have lived in Croydon for 12 years and am celebrating 20 years with my partner this year. I find as I get older I am wanting to get more connected locally.
I run an inclusive community singing group (Singing for the Terrified style) that is welcoming to all people of all gender identities, singing abilities, sexualities and disabilities (contact for access details). It is also fine to contact me for encouragement. catherine@naturalvoice.net.
I have an interest in singing for people who are getting used to new/altered voices as well as those who have never found their singing voice. Not an expertise but willing to learn together...
